Hi! I’m Raul. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts from the University of South Florida. I have been working on Freelance work since 2019, bringing to life characters and animations to those who request them. When work is slow, I substitute my time by working on personal projects that allow me to hone my skills. I am cooperative, ambitious, and ultimately would make a great fit to any team.
Personal
Outside of work, I’m a humongous nerd who loves playing games with friends. I frequent TTRPGs like Dungeons and Dragons and games like Magic: The Gathering. Speaking of nerd stuff, I’m sure it’s no surprise looking at my Portfolio that I love dinosaurs and dragons. I’ve been awestruck with them ever since I was a kid; it’s part of the reason why I’m even developing my own video game about them!
Growth
Throughout my years of Freelancing, I have learned that adaptability triumphs specialization. Art is as much about communication as it is skill, and ultimately a communicative artist will be better off than one who hides in solitude. I’ve learned that ambition is a great tool to have, but too much of it can cause a mountain of work, pacing allows me to meet goals at a reasonable deadline. My newest goal is to join a team of like-minded artists to create something for hundreds to witness.
